Date: 21 – 23 February 2020

Sister Kay Glunk is a Sister of Charity of Nazareth. She has ministered as a teacher, hospital chaplain, Director of Religious Education, RCIA, youth ministry, as a parish pastoral minister, and in congregational leadership. Sister Kay has a great love for the study of the Vincentian charism and spirituality.
A pioneer is usually seen as someone who courageously plunges into the unknown despite faults, doubts, and fears they carry with them and the consequences that they may encounter. Sometimes, the unknown that they explore is a wild, unfamiliar, and untamed frontier. Other times, it is a problem that appears to be hopeless or is considered untouchable by society. And, occasionally, it is daring to live a radical lifestyle that few, if any, have dared to attempt. On this retreat, Sr. Kay Glunk will lead us through a weekend-long, prayerful exploration of the spirituality of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Louise de Marillac, and Mother Catherine Spalding. These were three holy, dedicated, and brave individuals who entered into all three definitions of the unknown out of their love of God, desire to serve others, and willingness to change the world for the better.
