We will idle away an hour together every Tuesday beginning June 18th from 7 – 8 p.m.

Share simple melodies, profound thoughts, heartbeats and soft drum tones.

  • Bring your chair,
  • Bring your voice,
  • Bring hand drums or simple instruments,
  • Bring openness to experience,
  • Participate as you wish as we approach the summer sunset hours at the Gazebo at Nazareth in Bardstown, Ky.

No experience necessary, all experience welcomed and appreciated

Maggie Hettinger
Born into a large musical family, became a church musician at a young age, shared folk songs and songs and games with Girl Scouts of all ages. Flutist, pianist, organist, happy guitar player. Trained in music education (major influences Carl Orff, Richard Spalding, Francis Fuge).¬† Wife of Frank Hettinger and mother of four wonderful daughters. Taught classroom music and band for elementary school. Taught K – 2 primary. Learned to fly at age 55 and discovered¬† a love of soaring in gliders. Grandmother, gardener and mushroom enthusiast. Stephanie Robinson
Originally from New Haven, I grew up sharing my love of music with my family, my church and school, and community. Life took me in lots of fun directions and I received my Bachelors Degree of Music in Vocal Performance from New Mexico State University. I went on to have opportunities performing with orchestras, in operas, and musical theater. I taught theater and music in New Mexico in various roles then moved back to Kentucky with my husband, and went on to receive my Masters Degree of Arts in Music Education.
