Attending Grief – Hope in a Changing World, virtual, presenter, Lisa Irish
January 28, 2023 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm$50.00
Loss weaves its way into our lives in multiple ways, through death and nondeath losses. Grief offers a process of healing that acknowledges loss, sometimes missing in certain types of loss, and opens a space for hope to grow. This day will offer a safe place to develop a deeper trust in grief as our ally and companion in loss. Presentation, private reflection, prayer, and small group conversations will support this sacred time together.
Lisa Irish, MEd, MA, BCC incorporates her experience in chaplaincy and spiritual direction to support tender moments of insight and prayer. Of her book, Grieving – the Sacred Art: Hope in the Land of the Loss, Fr. Richard Rohr says….”the roadmap is wise, but sensitive – grounded in hope – and reminds us to rest in God’s healing love.” Lisa shares her understanding of grief, healing and hope in regular messages found at www.lisairish.com.
