The poetry of these two celebrated American contemplatives witnesses to life’s hidden holiness. Their spiritualties enliven and mentor our loving the world’s family of all things. Jonathan Montaldo celebrates his retirement by curating his final retreat at Nazareth where we shall reflect together over the poetry of Oliver and Merton, expanding our hearts’ bandwidths to experience their rapture of being awake and alive.
Retreat includes three nights accommodations, Thursday evening meal, three meals Friday and Saturday, breakfast and lunch on Sunday, plus the final retreat with Jonathan!
Jonathan Montaldo has been a writer, editor, and retreat presenter. His renditions of Thomas Merton’s writing include A Year with Thomas Merton, Dialogues with Silence and Choosing to Love the World. He has narrated five Merton audiobooks. He was principal editor for the Intimate Merton: His Life from His Journals with Brother Patrick Hart of Gethsemani Abbey. He edited the second volume of Merton’s journals under the title Entering the Silence (1945 – 1959).
