Is your child passionate about nature and interested in cultivating mindfulness in their daily life?
Spirit of the Wild Day Camp is a unique opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of ecology, connect with nature, and develop mindfulness practices. This camp is specially designed to foster a sense of harmony between ourselves and the environment, promoting ecological awareness and personal well-being.\
Calling all Nature Detectives in the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade! Join us as we have an insect safari, habitation observation hike taught by Whitney Wurzel in the morning.
With a theme of Gratitude, in the afternoon we will explore connections between nature and mindfulness. Campers will: create and write in their own nature journals, experience Nazareth’s walking Labyrinth, work with friends to make a nature mandala, and take some good time to relax and play in the creek.
Lunch and snacks provided.
Time: 9 am – 4 p.m.
This camp is open to students in grades 3-5 and all levels of experience, so whether your child is a seasoned nature enthusiast or just beginning to develop an interest in ecology, there will be plenty of opportunities for them to learn and grow. We guarantee that your child will leave the camp with a greater understanding and appreciation of the natural world around them.
